1. Sound City (February 2013) – a documentary directed by Dave Grohl, about the famous studio where Nirvana and many other famous bands and singers recorded their albums.

2. A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III (February). The comedy written, directed and produced by Roman Coppola, tells the story of a successful graphic designer who tries to recover from a breakup. It stars Charlie Sheen, Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, Patricia Arquette.

3. Beautiful Creatures (February). Bored by the life in a small town, Ethan meets a mysterious girl named Lena who possesses strange powers and learns he is somehow connected with her.

4. Safe Haven (February). Based on a Nicholas Sparks novel, Safe Haven tells the story of a woman who moves in a small town where she tries to run from her dark past. She soon meets a widowed store owner who she falls in love with, and she is forced to confront her ghosts from the past.

5. Stoker (March). After India’s father dies, her Uncle Charlie, who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her unstable mother. She comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and becomes increasingly infatuated with him (Imdb). It stars: Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode, Nicole Kidman. 6. The Great Gatsby. Based on one of the most extraordinary novels ever written, the 2013 film version of The Great Gatsby gives Leonardo DiCaprio the hard task of portraying one of the greatest characters of literature, Jay Gatsby. If he will succeed, as Robert Redford did in 1974, we will find out in May.

7. The Lone Ranger (July). A Native American spirit warrior, Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice. (Imdb)

8. The Conjuring (July). Set in the 1970s, the movie is based on the true story of Ed and Lorraine Warren, two demonologists hired by a couple who is experiencing unexplainable things in their farmhouse.

9. The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (August). Clary Fray witnesses a murder at a club, she finds out that her mother is attacked in their home and kidnapped by a man named Valentine in his search of the Mortal Cup. Helped by Jace and his fellow Shadowhunters she goes on a quest to rescue her mother and find out the truth about her past.

10. Malavita (October). Based on the book by Tonino Benacquista, and directed by Luc Besson, Malavita tells the story of the Manzonis, a notorious mafia family relocated in Normandy under the witness protection program. It stars Robert De Niro, Tommy Lee Jones, and Michelle Pfeiffer.

    It’ll be great to see screen icons Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer finally share the screen in Malavita.
    Who knows Michelle might even gain a long awaited Academy Award.
